Established in Sheffield in 1989, Crown Labels supplies a wide variety of businesses and organisations across the United Kingdom with bespoke self-adhesive labels. We print and manufacture labels at our factory in Rotherham – South Yorkshire, proudly supporting our local economy and community.
We have a range of different print processes including digital, flexographic, hot foil as well as being able to produce plain labels. Please find below a full list of our production capabilities.
Digital Print Equipment
The majority of our orders are now digitally printed as it provides exceptional quality with fast lead times. It is also very cost effective for short to medium runs or runs with a large number of SKU’s as it avoids the needs for origination charges like print plates.
We currently produce all of our digitally printed labels using UV inkjet technology on 1 x Domino n610i (6 colour) and 1 x Domino n610i (7 colour).

All of our digital labels are finished on a fleet of ABG Digicon machines ensuring the highest quality when it comes to precise die-cutting and finish options.
Flexographic Printing
A conventional process for longer run lengths with fewer variants, flexographic printing is perfect for colourwashes or for more cost effective jobs with 1 or 2 colours. We run 2 x Mark Andy 2200’s which are real work horses and can supply a range of different finish options from back-cutting to perforations or reverse web printing.
Hot Foil Printing
We use 2 x Newfoil machines for creating metallic foil stamping but also to die-cut more challenging substrates using flat bed tooling. These machines were some of the first we invested in when we began producing labels and they still have their uses to this day !
Plain Labels
Our plain labels are produced on an Omega SR270. We can also supply plain back-cut labels using our Mark Andy 2200 flexographic presses.
Sheeted Labels
As of 2025 we can now also supply sheeted and cut single labels, not just on reels ! Sheeted labels are produced on our RTS 330 from AB Graphics.
